Our Story

Founded in 1990, D’Lauro & Rodgers was built on the belief that cooperation is the key to meeting the critical performance objectives for each project and ensuring a positive experience for our clients. This simple belief and years of experience in the construction and development communities have allowed us to create strong long-term relationships with our clients, employees, and partners for over 30 years.

We are a client-oriented general contracting firm working on commercial, retail, hospitality, educational, and life sciences construction projects. Servicing the  Philadelphia and Tri-state areas, the projects we work on often encompass tight schedules, confined sites, rigid budgets, important health and safety standards, and high competition for the best contractors in the region. Our philosophy of integrity, collaboration and superior quality, and our strong corporate culture are the reason a significant portion of our work is for repeat clients. 

In 2021, our founder and then-president Al Ferraro announced his retirement, after 30 years at the helm of D&R, paving the way for our new president, Jeff Tabery, to continue leading D&R with the same commitment to putting clients and partners first and delivering excellent quality work on budget and on time. Mr. Tabery is a major player in the industry with a breadth of experience acquired over the past fifteen years of working and leading in the construction field.
